Read A Thon Fundraiser
Dear Students and Parents,
Vernfield Home & School Association (HSA) is excited to announce that we will be hosting a Read-a-Thon beginning March 1, for both in-person and SAOA students. Participation is easy and students will receive rewards. The more they read and fundraise, the more rewards they achieve! Parents can help their child by sending out the fundraising link to family and friends, once their child’s account is activated. The more readers who participate, the more money is raised for Vernfield! Stay tuned for details about how to get started!

A Pandemic Within a Pandemic: Supporting Overwhelmed Teens with Love, Laughter and the Science of Resilience
On Thursday, February 18th at 7:00PM via Zoom, the Indian Valley Education Foundation is hosting an evening with Dr. Michael Bradley, a clinical psychologist with over 30 years experience with adolescents, to present information about depression and anxiety affecting our youth and what we can do to help. For more information, please view this FLYER. This event is FREE, but registration is required.
**Please note: Parents are asked to attend without their children. This will spare adolescents the discomfort of the sometimes-graphic content and provide a forum where parents can freely ask specific questions regarding their kids’ behaviors.
