Digital Literacy involves teaching and learning the uses of technology. Learners must be able to learn and adapt quickly and efficiently. In the classroom we will be thoroughly in introducing and learning each digital tool.
Digital Communication means understanding and using the appropriate forms of communication when necessary. There are many modes of communicating with technology such as email, cell phones, instant messaging. In the classroom we will use various platforms for communication to understand their optimal use.
Digital Commerce is the electronic buying and selling of goods. In the classroom we will discuss safe e-commerce practices and its impact on the economy.
Digital Rights and Responsibilities
Digital Rights and Responsibilities are the basic digital rights each technology user is entitled to. Rights and responsibilities include copyright issues and appropriate manners. In the classroom we will address copyright use and how to be productive digitally.
Digital Security is the precautions taken to protect an individual's information and life. In the classroom we will cover ways to protect your identify, interact with strangers and what information to share.
Digital Health and Wellness
Digital Health and Wellness is the physical and psychological well-being in the digital world. In the classroom we will learn correct posture and learn to limit the amount of hours spent with technology.
