Friday, April 8th Sporty Spring Day


Students can wear their sports uniforms, jerseys, or gear from their favorites sports team (or) their school uniforms on Friday, April 8th.

Summer Programs Are Coming (ACT QUICKLY)

What's Available?

In addition to our usual offering of Extended School Year programming, there are two additional, NO COST options for elementary aged students this summer!


Option 1: Academics + Recreation


Option 2: Recreation Only



OPTION 1 (Academics + Recreation)


  • Springfield Public Schools program (SPARK Camp)
  • Held at Mt Vernon
  • July 5-July 28 (M-Th), 9:30-3:00
  • Transportation available
  • Meals provided (breakfast, lunch)
  • See flyers attached below for more information about this program
  • Registration Open Now (click link to register by May 2)


OPTION 2 (Sports/Recreation Only)


  • Willamalane program
  • Held at various community locations
  • Limited space--register ASAP
  • Self-transport only
  • Times/dates vary according to camp
  • SPS will pay for program for SPS students with grant monies (use code when registering)
