The Leopard Tale
February-2022
Principal's Points
Andre’ Families,
On your mark! Get set!
It’s time for the annual Superintendent’s Fun Run! This is such a fun day for ALL families. You can choose to walk as a family with strollers and family pets, or you can elect to actually run the race. Either way, it is a fun-filled day for everyone. Every year our Andre’ Steppers and Twisty Twirlers perform during pre-race festivities. You can also enjoy inflatables, wellness booths, and food. Most importantly, this annual event is the primary way our school district raises funds to support scholarships for our graduating seniors. Andre’ Elementary has been recognized time and time again for ranking as one of the top three CFISD campuses supporting the fun run. This year, our goal is to be #1. We have grade level and classroom prizes, as well as individual incentives for all students who sign up. Check out Dr. Henry’s quick 36-second video showcasing the event of the year- NOT TO BE MISSED!
See you on April 9, 2022.
Go!

Lunch Visitors
Parents are welcome to have lunch with their child on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. Please limit your lunch visits with your child to one time per week. We have close to 1000 students and want to make sure we have space for all parents who would like to eat lunch with their children. A note is required from a guardian for anyone other than a guardian to have lunch with your child.
Absences
If your child is absent, please send a note on the first day of your child’s return to school stating the reason for the absence. Thank you.
Transportation Changes
If a child’s end-of-day transportation changes, the parent/guardian must send a note with the date, necessary changes and parent/guardian signature. If a note is not received, the usual method of transportation will be followed.
For safety purposes, no changes will be made after 3:45 P.M. and PHONE CALLS or E-MAILS CANNOT BE ACCEPTED.
