Fall festival
Hello Eisenhower Families,
Eisenhower Elementary’s School Climate Committee is working hard to ensure that we provide inclusive and fun opportunities for every student at Eisenhower. This year they have made the collaborative decision to not celebrate Halloween. Understanding that celebrations are great ways for students to have fun in school and to create memories, each class will still take some time to celebrate the fall season with a Fall Harvest Friday. The school celebration will take place on Friday, October 28th.
Watch for more information to come home from your child(ren)’s classroom teacher(s). Please note that costumes will not be part of the celebration.
In great appreciation and partnership,
Lillian DeRung
Principal

Parenting news
Please look at October's Parent Press for more information about Understanding Personality. As a reminder, Welde Dubar-Kollie is our parent educator and a great resource. More info on her here. Getting out the door in the morning tough? Child not getting enough sleep? Let her help add some tools to your parenting toolbelt. See if any of these classes in the online parenting series can help.

If you have any winter gear that you don't need anymore and would like to donate, we could really use larger sizes and even some adult sizes.

Character Strong
