Smog
What is it? Module 13.7
What is it?
A mixture of smoke and fog/ozone, with pollutants mixed in. It's produced through a series of photochemical reactions.
Should I care? What does it do?
Yes you should, the smog is very dangerous to our health. About 90 million Americans live in areas with amounts of smog higher than the established standards for safety. The smog hurts us by causing problems with breathing, asthma, and eye irritation. It hurts all of our bodily functions, and is not to be underestimated.
How to reduce the amount of smog:
Establish standards and ordinances, and punish those who don't obey those laws. Use less electricity, and use green energy.
