Principal’s Points
Team!
We are in the 3rd quarter of the game and the end is in sight! Let’s kick it into high gear for the remainder of the year! We completed MAP testing for ELA last week. In grades 3-5, 40.6% of our students score developing or above! That data point is good news but we have a ways to go and can't stop now! As a school only 36.8% of students met or exceeded their growth! We will continue with our school wide MAP ELA data reviews this Monday for grades K-2 during planning. We have data meeting prep and meetings this Tuesday and Wednesday. Teacher of the Year and Staff Member of the year information is linked and attached. Let’s have a great week!
Fagan's Facts
-Behavior occurrences are on the rise. Please ensure that you follow the progressive discipline plan and document these behavior in Educator's Handbook. Sending students to the office without proper documentation will no longer be accepted and these students will return to class without a consequence.
-To ensure that instructional time is being maximized students are not permitted to run errands or assist with any tasks outside of their instructional environment. If students finish their work early give them more opportunities for practice.
