From the Nurse

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Spring is finally here!! While the weather is starting to get warmer and we are getting closer to the end of the school year, it is important to get outside and be active. Kids and adults alike benefit from getting outside. This includes getting Vitamin D from the sun, exercise helps keep our bodies limber, and it also helps us keep our minds clear.

Exciting news-Mancos School District will be providing an immunization clinic for all K-12 students in need of vaccinations. The Montezuma Health Department will be coming to our school May 4th from 10am-1pm. I will be sending permission forms home with your students in the next couple of weeks for anyone who is interested in participating. Colorado law does require all students attending school to be vaccinated against certain diseases. While in the pandemic many things were put on hold, including routine checkups and vaccinations. Hopefully, we can all work on getting back to “normal.” Our vaccination clinic will help.

More exciting news-The Mancos School District currently has no Covid related cases!!! This is week six!!!

Student Dress Code Policy JICA

A safe and disciplined learning environment is essential to a quality educational program. The dress code also applies to days athletes are asked to dress up on game days.

Be Prepared !

Please make sure your student is prepared for class. We are having a lot of issues with students not being prepared in classes such as shop, welding and PE. Please make sure they bring extra or appropriate clothing and shoes for these classes.
