GUMC Preschool
May Newsletter 2023

End-of-Year Thanks!
Can you believe that it is May already and that the school year is is almost over? It seems like only yesterday that we held our Open Houses to begin the 2022-23 year! We thank God for your children and the opportunity we have to teach them at GUMC Preschool. We hope that we have made them feel loved, safe and secure as they've learned and grown. The staff at GUMC Preschool take seriously our privilege and responsibility to provide quality early childhood education, and child care, in a safe and warm learning community.
As such, we still have a very busy May calendar planned, with special events, field trips, and end-of-year celebrations! There is lots going on! And, although the school year is ending soon for the children, Ms. Emily and I will continue to be planning, and working on items for next school year over the summer. Please feel free to reach out by phone or email if you have any questions regarding registration or our program.
In closing, we have thoroughly enjoyed being with your children and working with the amazing GUMC teaching staff this year. A sincere thanks to the many families among you who have offered words of encouragement, worked through solutions with us, and taught us about your children this year. We value your support and partnership in educating your children and helping them thrive at school. Thanks to the Room Coordinators and GUMC Preschool Board for their continued help in planning and guiding us through this year, as we continue to deal with remnants of the pandemic. It has been such a pleasure getting to know each of your children and having you be a part of our GUMC Community this year. If you are moving away, going to Kindergarten, or choosing a different school, the staff and I wish you the very best. Hopefully, you and your child will have fond memories of their year or years at GUMC Preschool!
Blessings,
Ms. Kim
