"Fall" in love with Learning!

Ms. Chapman's First Grade Class; October 2014

Dear Parents/Guardians,

I am excited to tell you about some exciting things that we will be doing this upcoming quarter! First off, I would love to congratulate your student; my class had the most improvements in reading levels this past quarter! All of my students have been working so hard and I am so proud of each and every one of them! We hope to keep up the good work!

Field Trip!

Tuesday, Oct. 28th, 9am

1500 Front St

Buffalo, IA

In a couple weeks all of the 1st grade classes will be going on a field trip to the Buffalo Pumpkin Patch as a way to say good job for all of their hard work this last semester! Students must have a signed permission slip in order to attend. We will be taking a bus there on Tuesday, October 28th. Students have the option to choose whether they want school lunch or want to pack their own lunch. If they choose school lunch, it will be taken out of their individual lunch account and the adults on the trip will bring it with. If they choose to pack their own, it is their responsibility to bring it to class and put it in the bin to take with. If you are interested in chaperoning or have questions regarding this field trip please contact Julie Wright at (563) 388-0984 ext. 2002.

We’re Germ-FREE!

Cold season is just around the corner and we are almost out of our back-to-school supplies! Stuffy noses have seemed to be the cause of our shortages in tissues and hand sanitizer... If your student could bring a box or a bottle for our classroom it would be greatly appreciated!
