The Longhorns and Lady Longhorns competed at the Regional Track meet in Whitney this past weekend. We are so proud of our athletes and their coaches for all their hard work and successes this track season.

Sierra Jackson: 9th place high jump

Anna Gilbreath: 7th place high jump and 10th place 100 m hurdles

Elaina Puente: 5th place 300 m hurdles

Brailee Yandell, Brianna Young, Anna Gilbreath, Victoria Switzer 4 x 400 M Relay 15th place

Austin Simmons: 3rd place discus

Clay Berry 3rd place 100 m hurdles

Gage Erwin: 13th Place 800 M Run

College & Career Connections

12 years of hard work is coming to an end for our seniors here at Gordon ISD, but their journey towards education and training is far from over. We are proud of our Seniors for all their hard work and congratulate all who have been accepted into college or career prep programs! Way to go Longhorns!!

SHAC Committee Update

The SHAC Committee will host it's last two meetings of the year on May 1st (3:45 pm.) and June 4th (11:00 a.m.) at the school library. We are ending the year with discussing the summer nutrition lunch program and reviewing our wellness policy and completing our annual assessment of the district wellness plan. We will discuss new goals as well and review the year. Please join us on these dates!
