From the Principal
Welcome back to school! We have missed our Panthers!! It has been so wonderful to walk down the halls and hear the sound of their voices in our hallways. I know our first week has been a challenge, and I understand how difficult dealing with technology can me. I spent many years working in technology and I was tasked with helping teachers learn how to use a computer at the beginning of the Internet Revolution. I used to tell my very upset teachers that we know technology can be challenging and things are just going to happen. We can't control those moments; however, we can make a choice how we react to the situation. I hope you will make the choice of patience. Patience is something we all need to get through this very challenging time. As your child's first teacher, have patience with virtual learning. Once you and your child get back into a routine, everything will work out. Remember you can contact your child's teacher, call the Parent Tech Help, or call our campus.
Remember, you are not alone, we are here for you and your child. The only way through this time is to keep working together.
Your Proud Principal,
Dr. Martinez

Feeling Stressed and Need Someone to Talk to?

In addition to a listening ear, the Mental Health Support Line will provide callers with access to mental health support, guidance, and will connect callers to agency and community resources as needed. Individuals can access a Mental Health Professional Monday through Friday, 9:00 am-5:00 pm, by calling 713-558-3777. The Mental Health Support Line is offered at no cost in English and Spanish.
