StemForce - Opportunity for Students
STEMFORCE Austin is a completely free outreach program run by The University of Texas at Austin’s Jackson School of Geosciences. This week-long project-focused geology academy inspires students and gives them a research-style experience that will help prepare them for college. Our program also continues to offer scholarship, internship, and other opportunities for support to our academy alumni throughout college. Our STEMFORCE students also earn an opportunity to submit and present at the American Geophysical Union’s Bright STaRS program at the annual conference.

Hello PHS Families –
I hope that you are having a wonderful week. Below, you will find opportunities that may help your student with their transition after high school. All opportunities below are free with the exception of the ACT. Please note that you must sign up for the SAT or ACT by January 28th, 2021. Keep in mind that you can always cancel your registration anytime before test day. You will also find two organizations through the College and Career Center that are free. These organizations can provide extra support in the College, Career, or Military Enrollment process (only available to the Class of 2022).
If you have any questions about the items below, please email Mr. Howell at Nicholas.howell@pfisd.net
