Webster Schools - Family Update

November 1st, 2020

From the Desk of Mr. Fimreite

Hello everyone, It sounds like we are in for some more wonderful weather this week. It sure is nice to have a few more warm days.

I am reaching out today just as a reminder to all and to ask for your help. As you know, our goal is to keep our school open and we will continue to do so as long as it can be done safely. As you are probably aware, we are seeing an increase in numbers of COVID-19 within our community and school, both positive cases and close contacts, who are now in either isolation or quarantine.

I wanted to remind everyone to watch for any symptoms your child may be experiencing. If you see any of the below symptoms in the past 24 hrs, students should stay home. Please refer to our reopening plan located on the website for additional information.

Temperature (daily checks)

Cough (new onset or worsening of chronic cough)

Shortness of Breath

Fever 100.4 or higher

Chills

Muscle Pain

Headache

Diarrhea, Nausea or Vomiting

Loss of Taste or Smell

We will get through this, but we need everyone to do their part!!

Thanks for your time and attention.

I also want to thank you all for being flexible for our first Virtual Day. I know this puts some strain on families, but feel it is a necessity to practice as we navigate through this pandemic. In the next few days, we will be sending out a survey for your feedback on the day. Please take the time to fill it out, as it will help us plan for the next Virtual Day. We are hopeful to have another one in December. We will get that date out to you as soon as it is set. Thanks again for your support and help!

Best regards,

Jeff Fimreite, Superintendent
