It’s that time again Morse families! We will be hosting our annual Jog-a-thon fundraiser on March 8th. This year it will be our only school-wide fundraiser so let’s make it a good one! Last year we raised an impressive $19,000. We think we can do even better this year! Our goal is to raise $20,000 to provide funds for our field trips, assemblies, school programs, classroom materials, and more! Please help us reach our goal by gathering pledges from your family, friends, and community members. You can turn in the pledges by cash or check (please return in the envelope that your student brought home this week) or electronically at Pledgestar.com/Morse. All pledges are due by March 8th.
A few weeks after the Jog-a-thon we will have a celebration day full of prizes and, back by popular demand, sliming of the teachers! The top earners for each grade will have the chance to slime a teacher! And if we reach our fundraising goal, Mrs. Farrell will get slimed! Our top earning class will also enjoy a pizza and ice cream party! Please join us during this exciting opportunity and raise some money for our school. Go Wildcats!

Maximize Learning Opportunities: Every Day Counts! / Maximice las Oportunidades de Aprendizaje: ¡Cada Día Cuenta!
Regular school attendance is crucial for students to fully engage in face-to-face learning and foster vital social connections with peers, contributing to their overall well-being. While missed homework can be caught up, the collaborative classroom experience is irreplaceable.
In California, students who miss just two school days a month, equivalent to ten percent of the school year, are labeled chronically absent. This rate of absenteeism, whether excused or unexcused, may signal academic challenges and increase the risk of dropout.
Every Day Counts in maximizing learning opportunities for students! Help us pave the way for your child's success by ensuring they attend school every day unless they are sick. When students are sick, families should contact their school to report the absence.
