Important Field Trip Reminders
We are so excited about our field trip this Thursday to the Dallas World Aquarium!
- All students should wear their OCT school spirit shirt. It is the camouflage shirt with orange writing.
- If the weather is chilly, be sure your child brings a jacket for our time at Parr Park. It is usually warm in the aquarium, so layering under the t-shirt may NOT be the best option.
- All students must bring a completely disposable sack lunch, a water bottle, and a separate hearty snack that we'll eat before leaving.
Thank you!!

Arrival Time and Parking
We are very grateful that we have so many chaperones coming with us on our field trip on Thursday!
The bus will leave O.C. Taylor at approximately 9:30 a.m. We ask that you arrive at the aquarium by 10:00-10:15 so you will be ready for us when we arrive.
We do suggest that chaperones carpool to better coordinate arrival times - and it is most likely cars will have to pay for parking.
Please bring a lunch for yourself and - if possible - a blanket for your group to sit on, in case the picnic pavilion at Parr Park is occupied. In case of rain, we'll head back to school to eat in our classrooms.
Chaperones, please be on the lookout for more information that will come home this week.
Thank you!
This just in...
Please pencil in Wednesday, April 29, for our spring field trip to Casa Manana!
We hope to have many chaperones join us for this fun time!
