Physical Education at CES
Please click below to view a letter from Mrs. Doucette, which outlines some important information regarding grading in P.E. classes while P.E. continues to be held remotely. This letter was also sent home with students in Cohorts A and B this week. Please don't hesitate to reach out to her at kdoucette@sau80.org if you have any questions about the letter or her classes.
I have been working with Mrs. Doucette to create a schedule that will allow in-person P.E. once all students are here 4 days per week. The plans are still being finalized, but it is looking like the students will have a 30-minute P.E. class each Thursday. We won't be able to have a full 40-minute class each week due to the shortened day and remote Mondays (Monday is Mrs. Doucette's only other day at CES), but the 30-minute weekly classes would allow us to eliminate the remote P.E. classes.
Girls on the Run at CES
Calling all 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade girls! Girls on the Run registration is open, that's right, OPEN.
What is Girls on the Run, you ask?
Girls on the Run encourages girls of all abilities to recognize their individual strengths and celebrate connections with others. The lessons taught at each practice blend physical activity with skill development that enables girls to adapt to whatever comes their way. In today's unpredictable world, the strategies learned at Girls on the Run are more important than ever.
