Theory to Practice Conference
Using research in the classroom for lasting impact
International Evidence as used by Practitioners in Wales
We are delighted to announce a brand new professional learning event for practitioners in Wales that brings together researchers, expert speakers and leaders in education with the people actually using their strategies in the classroom. We will be hearing from experts on the most effective learning strategies from cognitive science and education research as well as practitioners who are using these strategies in their classrooms. Our event will discuss the pitfalls and successes of the theories and how to make them work in your school.
The new Professional Teaching Standards require schools should have a "structured engagement in an action research community and evidence of practice informed by wider reading and research findings on a national and international scale." Our ground-breaking event will start you on the journey of deep, meaningful engagement with research for the classroom.
STOP PRESS: Our conference has been awarded the Quality Mark for excellence by Agored Cymru. CPD certificates will be awarded to all delegates by Agored Cymru.
