Message From the Principal
Hello Sabercat Families!
The past few days have been a challenge for many of our KVA and our F2F students as schedule changes have been made to accommodate each of your student's needs. Whether your student receives their instruction on campus or via KVA, our staff and teachers continue to strive to provide your student with a high-quality education.
A brief reminder to parents: please take some time to log into HAC to view your student's first six weeks report card. Our goal as a campus is to work hand in hand with parents to ensure students are completing and turning in their assignments in a timely manner. Students who have low grades are missing multiple assignments. Please check your student's grades in HAC weekly, so you’ll see if they have any missing assignments. We want to make sure we set our students up for success as they progress in their academic learning,
I appreciate your patience and abundance of flexibility as we continue to move forward in this school year. As a parent, I understand the many challenges and adjustments you have made in effort to support your child's success in school.
Please know we are all in this together, and I will continue to work diligently to ensure your student's safety and academic growth are my top priorities as your school principal.
Sincerely,
Dr. Ann Lalime

Nurse's Corner
Message from the School Nurse
Hello Parents,
Please see below the attached flow charts for guidance on if your child should come to school. In previous years, many of the symptoms on the COVID-19 symptoms list would not warrant a child to stay home, be sent home, or even see a physician. However, this year we must err on the side of caution to keep our students and staff safe.
Per Katy ISD Protocol, if your child has one or more of the following symptoms, please keep them home and see a physician or get tested for COVID, so they can be cleared to come to school.
COVID SYMPTOM LIST
- Fever greater than 100 or student "feels feverish"
- New and persistent cough
- Difficulty breathing or Shortness of breath
- New loss of taste or smell
- New or unusual headache
- Chills
- Sore throat
- New congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Muscle pain or body aches
Please know that if they come to the nurse's office with any of these symptoms, they will most likely be sent home, for an evaluation as well.
We know that this can be very inconvenient for parents.
We appreciate your patience and understanding while we all try to navigate through this pandemic.
Please reach out by phone or email if you have any questions or concerns!
