"what was the change during the reformation?"
it caused wars lots of violance.nd this so called co-reformation the church was delaying but had a response to the protestants.The selling of indulgences was highly regulated.The inner life or monasteries and convents was regulated and monitored, the Catholic Church was made more of a spiritual institution than a political establishment. The movement began as an attempt to reform the Catholic Church because many western Catholics were troubled by what they saw as false doctrines and malpractices within the Church.
how is that change seen in todays modern society?
well it divided the churches even more.The Reformation changed the way people thought of popes and clergy in general in todays society.The treaty also ended the Pope's pan-European political power for good .the reformation changed a alot of things in our modern society now a days . everything is diffrent now.popes dont have power now nd they cant excomunicate.
