EECV Family Newsletter - February
2/1/21 News, Updates, and Information for our Families
Welcome Back!
Dear EECV Families,
We are so happy to welcome back many of our students to in-person learning. We had a very successful first week with engagement and learning in each and every classroom. Having your child's smiling face back at the Village has been a wonderful experience for all the EECV staff!
We are planning several more activities/crafts this Spring with an at-home connection. Look for some fun things coming home with your child over the next few months that you can enjoy together!
As always, please reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns that you believe I can help with.
Sincerely,
Jackie Plantner, Principal

In-Person Preschool Chromebook Return
Just a reminder that now that we are back to in-person learning we do need Chromebooks AND chargers returned to EECV for IN-PERSON Preschool Students.
Return of Preschool Chromebooks:
Preschoolers returning to in-person learning will need to return their school issued Chromebooks and chargers to EECV by 2/5/21.
You can bring the Chromebook and charger at arrival or dismissal and give it to the staff at the door OR you may drop it off at the EECV main entrance to the office any time from 8:00 AM-4:00 PM by 2/5/21.
We do ask that a parent or other adult BRING the Chromebook and charger to the school rather than it being sent in a book bag or on the bus. This is to ensure that it does not get damaged. Parents are responsible for any damage that the Chromebook or charger incurs so drop off by an adult is needed.
If you cannot have a parent or other adult drop it off to EECV by 2/5/21, please call the office at 440-284-8250 to discuss other arrangements.
Valentine's Day Update
Preschool/Kindergarten Registration for 21-22
Students planning to remain in Preschool at EECV must re-register for next school year. Spaces will fill up quickly so please do not delay. Registration paperwork will be sent home with your child based on your response to the 2021-2022 School year intent form. Please return forms as quickly as possible to hold your child's preschool spot. You may also receive a call from school secretary Mrs. Bruening if we have any questions about the program placement for your child. Feel free to call the office at any time to discuss your 21-22 school year plans for your preschooler.
If your student is transitioning from Preschool to Kindergarten you will receive information regarding this transition and any steps you may need to take. Students transitioning from Preschool to Kindergarten DO NOT need to complete new kindergarten registration.
Please recommend EECV to your friends and neighbors with Preschoolers!
