Picture Day, Chromebook Distribution & Material Return
Grade levels will be assigned a specific date for picture day, chromebook distribution, and material returns. You do not need an appointment for this event, but you must come on your assigned grade day.
During your assigned grade date, this is the time for students to bring in their textbooks and materials from last school year. For chromebook distribution this will only be for new students into the district. Returning students to Armstrong High School or coming from the district middle schools. If your chromebook is broken/not working please contact: Kristin Stepan: kristin_stepan@rdale.org to coordinate next steps in this process. You will need to email Kristin Stepan before your scheduled grade date if you fall into this category.
Location: Armstrong High School (Main Entrance) 10635 36th Ave N, Plymouth
9th Grade: September 4th, 9:00 - 5:00 pm (Freshman will also pick up a packet they will need for their Geometry classes to start the school year. )
10th Grade: September 8th, 9:00 - 5:00 pm
11th Grade: September 9th, 9:00 - 5:00 pm
12th Grade: September 10th, 9:00 - 5:00 pm
Students will enter the main entrance of Armstrong High School wearing their own mask. Masks have to be on before entering the building.
Marking for social distancing will be on the floor and all students entering will need to be masked.
Students can only report on their scheduled date for their grade.
Parents will receive a password protected link to photos after picture day.
Returning students to Armstrong High School or coming from the district middle schools. If your chromebook is broken/not working please contact: Kristin Stepan: kristin_stepan@rdale.org to coordinate next steps in this process. You will need to email Kristin Stepan before your scheduled grade date if you fall into this category.
We understand that some of these times are scheduled during times you have class. If you need to leave class or you will be late to class due to getting your picture taken please communicate to your teacher.

Media Center Updates
- All students: Please return textbooks and library books you still have from last school year as soon as possible. We have book drop off available at the front entrance of Armstrong this week from 7am - 3pm. We need to collect last year's textbooks so that we can get your new textbooks checked out to you.
- Digital Device Agreement 2020-2021 (Gray Card): Review the Parent Device Agreement (Spanish) (Somali) and have a parent sign and print the Digital Devices Agreement (Somali) (Spanish) and bring it with you when you come to Armstrong for picture day. If you are unable to print a copy, copies will be available for you, but please bring your own pen.
- Freshmen: Incoming Armstrong Freshmen students who do NOT currently have a school-issued Chromebook please have a parent review the Parent Device Agreement (Spanish) (Somali), sign and print the Digital Devices Agreement (Somali) (Spanish), and then stop by AHS this Friday, September 4 between 9am-5pm to pick up your Chromebook when you come to picture day. If you are unable to print a copy of the Digital Device Agreement, there will be copies available on Friday (please bring a pen). You will NOT be given a Chromebook until we receive your signed Digital Device Agreement.
- Pay for your 2020-2021 Chromebook Device Protection Plan through Infinite Campus this year! Login to https://campus.rdale.org/ and use the links on the left side to access the store. The charge for the device protection plan is $25 per school year per student. This protects families from unknown expenses that may occur from theft or accidental damage while the device is in the care of your child. If you have questions about the device protection plan, please contact a school administrator.

- Hotspots: Do you need a Hotspot for the upcoming school year 2020-2021? A hotspot is a device that provides internet access. If your household does not have internet access, you have never had a district Hotspot, and you are in need of one for the upcoming school year please fill out this Hotspot Request Form to be put on a list to receive communication about Hotspot pick-up for the upcoming school.
