Field Trip Reminder
Parents will pay at the door.
Dear Parents,
What a fun filled week we had; from receiving our Pen Pal letters to tasting pickles in the name of math and science! Being a scientist is not just fun, it causes you to move beyond your comfort zone sometimes. I had many students that said they disliked pickles; yet they overcame their personal likes and licked the pickles in the name of science. What courage!
Reading our Pen Pal letters ; )
Look at us write!

We love to read! #makesmehappy
Math
In Math, we will finish our graphing unit. We will also be reviewing money and financial literacy to prepare for our 4th quarter math test..
Graphing our favorite pickle... or not so favorite
Science
In Science, to conclude our animal research project, we will be dissecting a squid. Yes, a real squid! It is a great way for students to examine up close the adaptations it uses to survive in its environment.
Can your child guess the adaptation that is most notable in this video?
