March Reading Madness Tournament
Take 16 awesome new books and 24 awesome Brooke Point students and you've got a tournament that will pick a champion from some of the best young adult fiction published in the last few months. The books have been selected and placed in their brackets. It's up to you to help advance the best book to the semi-finals, the finals, and then choose the champion. Participation is limited to 24 students so sign up now!
How It Works
Once you have signed up and are notified that you are part of a team, You will come to the library on February 28th and get your first two books! You will have two weeks to read these books, then you will vote on them. The winning book advances to the next round. You will then get your next book, and so on until we reach the finals.
- Read two books the first two weeks- Vote to advance one
- Read one new book the third week- Vote to advance the new book or the winner from the week before
- Read one new book the fourth week- Vote between it and the winner from the week before
- Read one new book the fifth week - Vote between it and the winner from the previous week
- Have A Party - Win Prizes - Declare A Champion!

Event Information
Sign Up for the Book Tournament
Sign up to be one of only 24 Brooke Point students who will participate in the tournament to pick the top book. Come to the library and sign up on the tournament sheet. You can see Mrs. Ryan for questions about how the tournament works or for further information. Tournament "play" (aka, reading) begins on February 28th when you will pick up your first two books. The competition runs through April 11th when it will conclude with an announcement of the winner at a lunchtime pizza party!
