Being safe in the kitchen
Being in the kitchen is fun, though kitchen SAFTEY is a priority. Knives, fire, and bacteria are all observing basic rules of kitchen SAFTEY and is a good habit to develope. Always pay attention to what you are doing in the kitchen, because one slip can cause a major injury or accident.
To prevent from having kitchen fires or if you do then smother pan with a lid or you can smother baking soda on the fire.
Clean up mess as soon as it happens
Always point pans inwards
ALWAYS TURN OFF HOT AREAS WHEN NOT USED!!
More than half of accidental fires at home are started by cooking. Many kitchen fires happen when people are not paying attention or they leave things unattended. If a pan catches on fire, don't move it because it will be really hot. Turn off the heat if it's safe to do so.Also, don’t lean over the pan to reach the controls, don’t use a fire extinguisher on a pan of oil because the force of the extinguisher can spread the fire, never use water on chip pan fires because it will cause a fireball, use a fire blanket or a lid to smother the flames if it safe to do so. When done get out and stay out and call 999.
