Junior Parents
As we look ahead to the upcoming school year, I want to remind you of an important health requirement for your child's senior year. Indiana State Law requires all incoming seniors to receive their Meningococcal (MCV4) vaccination before returning to school unless a religious exemption form is on file.
All religious exemption forms must be completed and submitted to the school at the beginning of the school year. Please note that this form is required annually and must be on hand for the State Health Department to waive the requirements.
I recommend you schedule an appointment with your healthcare provider, or the Madison County Health Department to get your child vaccinated at your earliest convenience. Doing so will ensure they meet the school's health requirements to start their senior year without any delay. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or need help with the vaccination process or exemption forms.
Band Performance Gets Awarded Gold!
Our High School Band performed at the ISSMA District Organization Festival and received a Gold rating in both their performance and sight-reading categories. Our students have achieved exceptional levels of excellence through this concert series and we are very proud of their hard work.
The Band Department's end of year concert is Wed. May 8th at 7 p.m. in the main gym at FJSHS. Please come out and celebrate the successes of all of these students through the year.
