Wildcat Remembrance Day November 30th, 2022
As we approach the one year anniversary of the Oxford tragedy, we want to share what many schools are doing in order to find a balance between having a "normal school day" and an opportunity for those who want to show support. School districts across our county and state are encouraging wearing Oxford Blue and Gold on Wednesday November 30th. This is to show our love and support.
Pacing Reminders
We want all students to be able to enjoy time with family and loved ones over the upcoming break. Please keep the following pacing guide reminders in your thoughts as you plan for the coming weeks of learning:
- High School students should be 90% complete with gradable course work prior to December 26th
- Elementary Calvert students should be 44% complete in core classes
- Lincoln Elementary and Middle School should be to lesson 79 in core classes while K-2 Science and Social Studies should be at lesson 40
Second Semester Enrollment Opens December 5th
VLAC will open enrollment online for new families second semester starting on December 5th. If you know someone who would like more information about our program please have them email us at info@vlac.org. We are able to schedule individual virtual or phone calls to provide information to anyone who would like more information.
