What is your vision of Tracey school and how can you help contribute to achieving that vision?
Beatriz Moran- 2nd Grade Student
When I think about Tracey, I think about how the amazing students, teachers and staff exemplify the Tracey PRINT. Thus, I would like to be a voice for the school. I am a product of the Norwalk Public Schools, so I am a strong believer in the public school system. I am bilingual so I understand the plight of the non-english speaking parent. I also know how to be an advocate as I have been the voice, support and reason for many as an attorney in Connecticut for many years.
Janna Hellandbrand- Student in Prek- & 2nd Grade
I see Tracey as a school that always puts students first. I feel I can help contribute to that vision by participating as a caring parent and always making sure that all decisions made are in the best interest of our students.
Rhys Stoltenberg- Grade 5
To create a sustainable, nurturing educational environment through the unified efforts of parents, teachers and staff; focused on measurable and achievable goals.
Sophie Constandaki K & 2nd Grade Students
My vision of Tracey is as a vibrant primary learning community and environment that provides a solid and positive foundation in all areas of a child's growth (e.g. intellectual/academic, social emotional, creative, and moral) to all its students. Tracey puts a special emphasis on the moral aspect of a child's development, an area that is commonly overlooked in education, by teaching the importance of character and values. The way I can personally contribute to achieving this vision is foremost by being positively involved to the best of my ability in the school community as well as in decision-making processes that will inevitably have a direct impact on students and school families. Volunteering at the school has given me a deeper understanding of the school community, its culture, mission and values.
Delci Jackeline Carvajal Peña- 2nd Grade Student
My vision as a mother for Tracey School is to be able to culturally enrich the students at Tracey. I believe that if we give students the opportunity to explore other cultures through activities, we will help all students respect our differences.
