Lady Vikings Earn First Ever Final 4 Birth; Finish 4th In Class 5
The Lady Vikings basketball program made its first ever trip to the State Final Four in program history on Thursday and Friday. They faced off with Kirkwood on Thursday afternoon. In front of a huge student section, parents, and fans that traveled to Mizzou arena to support the Lady Vikings, they led early by as many as 11 points before falling 66-55 in the State Semi's. They came back the next morning to take on Liberty in the third place game. Our ladies battled but ended up falling 53-46 to finish 4th in Class 5. The girls basketball program finished their historic season 27-5.
