Middle of the Year MAP Testing Middle of Year MAP Testing - NWEA MAP Family Toolkit Website Your students have been working hard at school to show growth in the academic areas of reading and math. One way we measure this is through our NWEA MAP Universal Screener. You will be receiving the results of this testing. BISD knows this is only one data point, but we use this to help all students fill in gaps or to let us know to keep pushing their learning higher. If you have any questions about your child's results, please contact their teacher. | School Counselor Week National School Counseling Week 2023 is Feb. 6-10, 2023, to focus public attention on the unique contribution of school counselors within U.S. school systems. National School Counseling Week highlights the tremendous impact school counselors can have in helping students achieve school success and plan for a career. BISD wants to thank our counselors: Mark Neese Tonya Johnson Heather Duncan Kara Burton along with our Student Success Coordinators Darla Hakanson Christy Baker | Jackrabbit Preview The Jackrabbit Preview is for all current 8th graders who will be entering 9th grade in the 23-24 school year. The meeting will cover graduation requirements, the different endorsement options students may select, pathways, clubs, organizations, and the four-year graduation plan. It is essential that 8th-grade students and their parents attend this meeting to gain insight to make decisions about your child's educational path for the next four years. |
