the symptoms
There is one main phase everyone goes through then a more deadly possible second. After the first 3 to 6 days you will enter the first phase, the acute phase, you may experience: fever, headache, muscle aces, nausea and vomiting, loss of appetite, dizzyness and red eyes face or tongue. It is usually not deadly.
phase 2
The second phase of yellow fever is where you would probably die. The symptoms you would experience are:yellowing of the body and whites of eyes, vomiting sometimes blood, bleeding from the nose mouth+eyes, slow heart rate, kidney failure, brain dysfunction including delirium seisures and coma.
virus info
Half of the people who experience the second phase die. In all, yellow fever kills 30,000 people each year, the virus is spread by mosquitos. The virus attacks many organs but it affects the liver causing yellowing of the skin. It also attacks the kidneys and nerve clusters.
There is no known cure for yellow fever today but a way you can treat it is by staying hydrated, easing fever symptoms and muscle pain. Hopefully they will find a cure soon.
