Professor's Recommendation:

Dear A5-ers,

This week I'm recommending two conflicting programs. If only we all had time-turners so we could Hermione our way into both at the same time. (I think I just coined "Hermione" as a verb that means "to be two places at once," for which you can thank me later.)

Both happen Monday evening. The first is sponsored by the Athletics department: the 2nd NYUAD Fitness Games. Monday April 20th 2015, 5.30 pm, NYUAD Performance Gymnasium.

The games will be a fun, multi-activity event aimed at challenging all aspects of fitness. Registration has technically closed for this event but walk-ins will be welcome -- as will spectators & cheerleaders. This event is included in the NYUAD 21-Day Wellness Challenge so participants get 10 points for taking part, but you're welcome to participate even if you're not taking part in the longer challenge.

The second event, also Monday evening, is a screening of the classic American film Raging Bull (1980), starring Robert DeNiro. If you've never had a chance to see it, take this one. Monday, 20 Apr 2015 at 6.00pm in the Arts Center (C3 118) with an introduction by Richard Allen, Cinema Studies, NYUNY.

Have a great week, everyone!
