This Week's Recap....

It was a busy week. We finalized grades and report cards, had All-School Chapel and hosted two afternoons of Parent-Teacher Conferences, albeit some excitement on Thursday with a lock down due to police activity in the area. Thank you to everyone affected for their cooperation.

All students in 1st through 4th grade are invited to come and sing in church this Sunday, November 4th. Students should meet at 10:15 in the auditorium, so parents please send your children that way and then go and find a seat in the church. The teachers will be waiting for them in the auditorium. Worship should end around 11:30. Please do not just drop off your children. We hope to have a great turn out.

Tomorrow is the ACADEMIC OLYMPICS at Pace High School for those middle school students who are on the team. Students should come dressed in school uniform and be at Pace no later than 8:00AM. This is a team event, so any team member that is missing will cause the team to potentially lose points. Parents need to be at Pace to pick up their children by 11:30AM. Thompson has distributed written information about this event TWICE to students who are involved so there should be no problem with tomorrow's event.

MIDDLE SCHOOL PARENTS...If you are planning to send your student on the middle school trip and have not paid the deposit, please do so immediately. Detailed information was distributed to students and was sent via email from Mrs. Trujillo. If you have questions, please call Mrs. Trujillo at 305 893 0851 or email

to our wonderful PTL and Parent volunteers for the fun, family event that they planned. We all really enjoyed the TRUNK OR TREAT last Thursday. Everything was very well planned and executed and that made for a great event. Thank you to our parents who donated items and their time and of course to our teachers and staff.

1st Quarter Report Cards

If you did not come for a Parent-Teacher Conference, I am sorry as this was a great opportunity for you to spend time with your child's teachers. Your child's report card will be sent home on Monday and a signature will be required when it is returned. I hope that all of our 1st through 8th grade parents are keeping track of their child's grades on Renweb, so the report card should not have been a surprise to you. If you need a conference with a teacher, he or she will be happy to schedule it at a mutually agreeable time.

PTL meeting

There will be a PTL meeting this Tuesday beginning at 6PM in the auditorium.

Please see flyer below.

All are invited to take an active role in our wonderful PTL that does so much for our students and school.
