Promethean Training for the Kinder Teachers
Mark you calendars for January 12 from 4:00-5:30 PM at Crockett Elementary for an exciting session on using the Promethean board and clickers in your class on a daily basis. Janie Rodriguez, Kinder teacher at Crockett Elementary will show tips and tricks on getting your kids actively engaged and inspired to want to learn more. Her creative flipcharts promote cognitive development integrating the students senses for the ultimate learning environment. This session will focus on Language Arts using the resources readily available to you on the shared drive or online subscriptions.
You will need to bring your charged laptop so that you can walk away with a lesson to use the next day. This session is facilitated by Robyn Sewell-Poutra, Ed Tech Specialist.

Promethean and Math for the K-1 Student
If you are looking for ways to integrate the Promethean board and create your own lessons for math to supplement Pearson lessons, then mark your calendar for January 26 from 4:00-5:30 PM at Crockett Elementary. Janie Rodriguez and Robyn Sewell-Poutra will show you ways to get your students actively involved during math time. The session will focus on "number sense" to use during whole group lessons and center activities.
You will need to bring your charged laptop so that you can take with you a lesson your created to use the next day.
