By: Kelli and Dean
Good Castles. Good TImes.
Do you rememebr when you were a kid and you wished that you could live in a big castle? If you didn't have that dream, you probably didn't have a childhood. Kings, queens, nobles, and other rankings of royalty lived in these buildings. The most important purpose of these castles were for protection during the war times, but sometimes it was just to impress others. Some different types of architectural styles were Norman, Early English Gothic styles, Decorated Gothic style, and more. These castles were enormous and beautiful. Some of the activites that took place were drinking, eating, playing chess, and listening to music. Sounds fun, right? All of this took place during midieval times; all of this between 500 A.D. to 1500 A.D!
