54 Mint Fundraising Dinner

Restaurateur Gianluca Legrottaglie welcomes us to join him at 54 Mint for a private event on Wednesday, December 1 at 6:30pm. An evening there is the closest you'll get to an Italian vacation anytime soon, so come together for wine, cocktails, and a gourmet dinner as we raise some funds for DW.

Tickets for $120 are going fast and available here

COVID Vaccinations for Students

The CDC has officially endorsed the recommendation for children from the ages 5-11 to get vaccinated. Daniel Webster highly encourages children to be vaccinated this school year as soon as it is possible for families. All absences due to vaccinations will be marked as excused.

Here are some vaccination clinics giving free vaccinations to students 5 years and older

  1. Potrero Hill Health Center (M, W & F 8:20-2:30)
  2. Zuckerberg SF General Learning Center (M-F 8-4)
  3. Southeast Health Center (M-F 9-4 and Saturday 9-4)
  4. Ella Hill Hutch (MTThF 8-4:30, Weds & Saturdays 10-6)

Excusing your Child's Absence

When a student has 3 unexcused absences, SFUSD automatically sends the parent/guardian a letter informing them that the student has been classified as a truant. If there is a valid reason that your child is absent or tardy by over 30 minutes (illness, doctors note, vaccination, etc.), please send to our office manager, Angela [sch497@sfusd.edu] and our family liaison, Laura [bentonl@sfusd.edu] so that they can excuse the absence in the system
