HAPPY THANKSGIVING

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
This week's newsletter is a little different from all of the rest. At Thanksgiving we are reminded of all the things that each of us are thankful for. We as a department are so thankful to all of our students and colleagues who believe and join in our mission to develop young leaders.
Without you, the work we do wouldn't be possible. Thank you.
If you have questions or wish to contact us, please send an email to Lead@temple.edu.

5 Things to GIVE
During the holiday season we are usually overcome with the want to give to others, but as college students, many of us have a limited budget. Here are five things to give that will make a difference but won't ruin your budget.
- FOOD- Donate to a local food pantry to help make a thanksgiving meal possible for families in need.
- WARMTH- Blankets and coats donations are a great way to give warmth those without a home or heat this winter season.
- TIME- No money to donate? Sign up to be a Salvation Army Bell Ringer and donate your time to raising money.
- LOVE- Many people in nursing homes go the entire holiday season without seeing their family, spend some time with those who just want someone to talk to.
- HAPPINESS- Some kids go without ever receiving a brand new toy that they can call their own, while you’re out shopping the Black Friday deals grab a few toys, coloring books, and school supplies to give to a local children's home.
*+1: Love animals? Call your local animal shelter and find out what they are in need of. Many times it may be food, toys, blankets, leashes, or kitty litter.
