The Weekly Update
April 9-13
This Week's Highlights
I hope that you each had an amazing week and are preparing for another wonderful spring week! We are getting ready to wrap up our current project this week, I have been so impressed by the amount of food from the scholar food drive and it is always great to see so many green plants popping up everywhere. I am looking forward to seeing the final products!
On Monday, students will bring home their 3rd nine weeks report cards (be sure to check their bookbags).

Proctors Needed!
Foothills Community School is preparing for state testing. Being a small school gives our students a "family feel" to their middle school experience, but it also leaves us lacking in adult support during end of year testing.
On May 25- June 5, we are in need of volunteers to serve as proctors for testing. If you would be willing to volunteer 3 or 4 hours of your time to help show these young men and women you care, please email Melanie Shaver (melanie.shaver@mcdowell.k12.nc.us) or call 652-3390.
Thank you for supporting our school!
