Lee, Rogers, Wiley Newsletter
Week of January 28th
What's Happening?
As the weather begins to get colder, it is required that students are dressed appropriately for recess in order to go outside with the group. Please encourage your child to bring a heavy coat and wear pants (not shorts) on the cold days ahead.
In February, students participate in the Georgia Student Health Survey. This is an online survey for students to complete. You will find more information about this in your child's Friday Folder. If you would not like your child participating in this survey, please sign and return the form that is in the Friday Folder. We only need this form returned if you do not want your child to participate.

Science and Social Studies with Ms. Wiley
Students will review their test in class on Monday and write down the retake date of 2/5 in their agendas. If your student chooses to retake this assessment they must complete the Summative Mastery Ticket AND attach all associated work to the ticket. I must have the completed ticket and work on the day of the retake or your student will not be able to retake this assessment. Remember that students can only retake 2 assessments per subject, per semester.
Science:
Next week: We will continue our Earth's Surface unit. Students will continue learning about constructive, destructive forces, weathering, erosion, and deposition. This is a large unit and students should be reviewing these new concepts nightly.
