Mmmm... Hot Chocolate!
The History of the Cacao!
Students learned about cacao, in English we know this as cocoa! First, we hypothesized about what this strange looking plant could be: ice cream in a pinapple, bread, or a corn dog? We then looked at where it grows and the history of the cacao and the hot chocolate we enjoy today. Following this activity we then sequenced our own recipe of hot chocolate!
