Can You Help?

Flexible with days. Even one day per week is helpful.


We're hopeful that there are a few kind souls that would be willing to help out as cafeteria/playground aides. We've been short a person since the beginning of the year, a recent resignation, and an opening for the next 4-6 weeks has made our experience all the more challenging. We'd love to hire interested individuals, even if only for a day or two. Feel welcome phoning our office if interested (610-287-9197) or apply via the district website specifying Salford Hills.

We're excited to continue a long standing Salford Hills tradition of honoring Distinguished Readers, a program where students have read the equivalent of 25 books independently. Once a child's book log totals 25, the classroom teacher submits names to the office and Mrs. Connery announces the list of names every Wednesday during morning announcements. In addition, students receive a Distinguish Reader tag.

COVID-19 Testing Sites

The Montgomery County Health Dept. has expanded COVID-19 testing throughout the County. Beginning Monday, October 11th, they are going to reopen the Green Lane test site and increase the hours of operation at all locations. We are planning to reopen the Lansdale site in the near future. The new schedule is as follows:

Home and School Meetings: 6PM


As a parent or guardian of a Salford Hills student, you are automatically a member of Salford Hills Home & School Association. We invite and welcome you to attend the monthly meetings, usually held on the second Tuesday evening each month. (Babysitting is provided free of charge.) These meetings keep you informed about activities at Salford Hills and HSA activities. All meetings are at 6PM, either outside by the Outdoor Classroom or in the cafeteria, depending on the weather/sunset time. At indoor meetings, social distancing is required.
