Principal's Message
Hello Stetson Families,
The groundhog was right, it looks like we will be having six more weeks of winter. I am sure we will be seeing more snow this coming week. Let's hope this one doesn't amount to much but be on the lookout for communication from Dr. Scanlon and me.
The course recommendation window opens next week for our students. Please log onto the parent portal and see your student's course recommendations for next school year. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to your grade level counselor or view the course selection information on our Stetson website.
We will have our final picture day on February 26th for any student who has not had their picture taken yet or wants retakes. Please be on the lookout for a message from Mrs. Stephen about this process soon. Our January picture proofs just arrived! They will be distributed during your student's next in-person school day. We will be reaching out to our cyber and remote students to pick up their proofs at school during school office hours. If your child did not receive their proofs, please contact the main office.
REMINDER:
Car Line pick-up and drop-off have become a safety concern that I need to bring to your attention. We are exhibiting a large volume of cars and we are asking our parents to be patient with our pick-up process. Upon entering our complex, please proceed to Starkweather Elementary School and turn around toward our parking lot. This helps our line expand onto our property rather than blocking the entrance for our busses trying to enter coming from 202. The vehicles must pull all the way around the bend to help the flow of traffic. Students are not permitted to walk through our parking lots, please do not park and expect your child to cross through moving traffic to get to the car. Thank you for cooperating with our traffic procedures. We enjoy seeing your smiles, waves, and family dogs!
We want to extend a BIG thanks to our PTO for providing staff box lunches from Serock Catering. It was a great to end our Spirit Week: Spreading love through Kindness. Check us out on Twitter for details @GAStetson
We appreciate your support and encouragement to help our students reach their maximum potential. KEEP IT UP! If you should have any further questions, please feel free to reach out to me to discuss them in more detail.
Thanks for your time and attention!
Have a great holiday weekend,
Mrs. Puchalla

Advisory--Remote Learners
*If you have questions about course selection--ASK someone or refer to the presentation on our Stetson school website!
All students are required to attend this class in person and remotely. Attendance will be taken each class period. I hope you have gotten a chance to look at the planning sheet (has current grades on it). It was sent to you by your child and is updated weekly. If you have not, please discuss with your child at home and reach out to the grade level administrator if you have any additional questions.
We will continue to work on executive functioning skills, building initiatives, and individual academic support for all students. This time block is also a good opportunity for students to catch up on missing work or touch base with a teacher to ask questions about an assignment.
Counselor Tip--For all Students
- Check out 21-22 HS and MS Course Selection guides
- Pay attention to front cover timelines and unnumbered pages for important information

Attention 7th and 8th Grade Students:
