President's Corner
Greetings HT Family and Friends! Spring is here- what a wonderful time of year! As we move into this new season, it is my prayer that we all continue to walk in strength. The time is drawing near to complete our pledges and submit our donations to the university. We recognize that the contributions of alumni assist in making the experiences of current students just as good, if not better, than our own. As always, we are grateful for your support through your time, talents and treasures. Please continue to encourage any high school students you know that have not committed to a university to consider joining our Huston-Tillotson University family in the fall. Last, be sure to mark your calendars for commencement and register for Alumni weekend, details are included. We are looking forward to connecting in May, thank you for your continued support.
In Union, Strength

2016 Pledge Reminder
RUTH ROBINSON, CHAIR
I am taking this opportunity to contact chapter members to follow up on finalizing Pledges that were received during our PLEDGE BRUNCH in November. Let me THANK YOU for your continued support of the university and being dedicated to making sure that today’s students have the same access to a great educational experience as we did. Without your commitment and generous contributions, these opportunities would be lost.
To complete our 2015-16 Pledge process, everyone is reminded to send the amount of your pledge or the balance of your pledge to the University by April 30, 2016 (or as soon as possible thereafter). Please submit the payment of your Pledge payable to “Huston-Tillotson University.” Be sure to note on your check that your donation should be credited to the Dallas Chapter.
Mail your payment to: Huston-Tillotson University, Office of Institutional Advancement
900 Chicon Street, Austin, Texas 78702. Phone: 512-505-3073 or 3074.
Email or Call Me: Finally, would you send me an e-mail (rrobin1@sbcglobal.net) or phone me (214-212-2869) to let me know that your pledge has been sent? This will assure that our reporting to the university is accurate and complete. NOTE: If you don’t make the April 30 due date, please still send your pledge or donation of any amount; it will still be counted for this year although not in the amount we report at the Reunion Alumni Awards Banquet.

Ruth Robinson is much better and back on her Dallas Chapter job as our Financial Secretary and Pledges Chair.
Bobbie Waring reported that Dallas HT alum, Ruby F. Hall McLean was funeralized on Saturday, April 23rd. Bobbie delivered a card to the family on behalf of the Dallas Chapter.
