Building LEADERS one subject at a time!
Reading: This week we continued practicing fluency and expression while reading the Reader's Theater book, Kid's Day!! We will also be finishing up our guided reading group books and completing levels on LEXIA.
Math: This week we started off the week with measurement and conversions. Now we are working on line segments, lines, rays, parallel, and perpendicular lines! We will be skipping around a little in the math book, so that we can cover all of the skills expected by the end of the year!
Social Studies: This week students have the opportunity to train our brains, with the strategy of Read, Remember, and Retell. This strategy will help us to remember as much as we can about the Civil War!
Writing: We will be reviewing end punctuation, commands, statements, exclamatory sentences, questions, and identifying subjects and predicates.
A Fun-Filled Week Ahead!
