DEVELOPING RIVER SYSTEMS AT AMS
Grade 8 students in Mr. Williams' Earth Science class presented their river system models, which included everything from meanders to Oxbow Lakes. Students had one class to plan & brainstorm, and one class to test designs with materials, but many put in hours outside of class time to create the finished product. The winning group included Louie Reale, Jason Strickland, Christian Romer and Harry Bourgault, who received 192 out of 200 possible points in 4 rubric categories with 5 individual staff judges. Great work by everyone involved!
