March on Madison
Please excuse the tardiness of this message. I appreciate your patience. We have gotten all the information needed at this point and here is what we need for tomorrow's March On Madison performance:
1) Logistical maps attached. Please meet in the NORTH parking lot. Parents need to go into the SOUTH entrance to park (see parking map attached, too).

2) Meet at 4:45pm. We will take roll and warm up in the north gravel parking lot. We will go onto the field at 5:30 to find spots. Performance at 6:00pm.
3) We will load the truck after D block advanced band (around 1:30) and have it loaded before school is out. The truck is for large instruments and anyone who needs us to transport their instrument.
4) ALL students must sign out. There will be a sign out clipboard with volunteer parents - one for Concert, one for Symphonic and one for Guard. Parents need to keep in contact with their students if they won't be inside the stadium watching the event. Obviously, I hope all parents come in and watch the groups. Its a great opportunity and its SO MUCH EASIER logistically if the parents are in the stadium already. Its tough when a parent doesn't want to buy a ticket - I can't just release your student to walk around the stadium because I feel like that's very unsafe. Please keep that in mind.
5) The schedule says the last group (BJHS competition band) performs at 7:45pm.
The event should be done between 7:45 and 8:00pm.
Tickets are $5 to enter. There are concessions and t-shirts available (students can bring cash if they have permission from parents).
Please keep logistics in mind and know that I will not let your students wander around looking for you guys to pick them up. Safety first. Contact me if you need help getting a ride.
