We Made It!
Our wish is to have a smooth 2021 with our students learning, our teachers doing what it takes to teach our students, and our students and teachers being successful throughout all of the crazy times we have. We can make it happen by working each and every day together.
Meet Coach Howell
Coach Casey Howell is a graduate of Jacksonville State University. At JSU he received a Master’s Degree in Physical Education as well as a minor in Health and Math. Coach Howell, in his 13th year of education, teaches PE, Health, and Computer Science at Cold Springs High School. He is married to Helen Howell, and they enjoy going to church, traveling, and traditions.
Coach Howell is the Head Cross Country and Track & Field coach at CSH. The Cross Country team this year was blessed with a State Championship earned by our girls and Top 3 finish earned by the boys! Did You Know?
Student of the Month
As stated by one of Morgan's teachers, "She stays ahead on her assignments, and because she is ahead, she will ask me if I need her to do anything for me. If she sees me carrying something heavy, she gets it from me."
Morgan is self-motivated to help and takes the initiative to do what needs to be done without being advised by an adult. She has been pivotal to the success of a profitable and efficient concession during volleyball season by stocking items, preparing food, cleaning the area, and selling items when necessary.
Thank you, Morgan, for being an outstanding student and your voluntary service to others.
