Thank You!
Dear Atholton Families,
Happy Mother’s Day! I hope everyone has taken the opportunity to express their gratitude to all our mothers and the work they do day in and day out to support their families. I truly appreciate all our mothers do to support our school. THANK YOU! I hope your day has been a special one. In fact, my message this week will be short as I am honoring my wife and mother on this special day.
This past week was Teacher Appreciation Week. Even though teacher appreciation week fell on a week after our prom and the post-prom, our parents still came together to show their support and appreciation of our staff at Atholton. Thank you to everyone for the breakfast, the taco bar, and the desserts. The staff truly appreciated everything!
On Thursday, Student Government Co-Presidents, Rahel Petros and Jessica Zinderman, spoke at the Board of Education meeting about all things taking place at Atholton. They did an outstanding job. Here is the link to their presentation (click on Student Representative's Report --Atholton HS).
There are a few deadlines approaching for seniors. Please be sure to review the new information in the senior section below.
Finally, as the 2018-2019 school year comes to an end, it is time to begin thinking about new leadership of our PTSA. Our current president, Kim Lowe, has done an outstanding job leading this year, but as the parent of a senior, we need to find someone to take her place. We have several senior parents and need others to take over for next year! Please contact our PTSA if you are interested or know someone interested.
Have a fantastic week!
Warmly,
Robert A. Motley
Principal
