Marie's Message- MN State President
There is nothing that can rejuvenate you and bring warmth to your soul more than being around family and friends. I received the gift of being able to have all three of my children home with me over the weekend. They bring such joy to my life and warm my heart. I would not trade my time with them for anything.
Let's all continue to spread the warmth this week with an AΔK sister.

Fraternity Education
Our last MN Executive Board meeting was a ZOOM meeting. It was very welcome to see everyone’s face and talk to each one in “person.” One of the topics we discussed was our Omega Chapter and what to do when a member enters Omega Chapter. It is important that Headquarters hears from the chapter upon the death of a member or former member. The motto of our organization is: ˆ”Once a SISTER, always a SISTER!!”
Our Handbook Article III Section 10 states:
a. Omega Chapter shall be comprised of deceased members.
b. A memorial service for members deceased during the biennium shall be held at each International Convention. In addition the S/P/N and/or individual chapter may wish to conduct an Omega service.
c. The badge/International pin shall become a part of the personal effects of a member of Omega Chapter.
Who to contact: The S/P/N/President; NCRIVP; INTERNATIONAL HEADQUARTERS. I contacted Kristen Bridges-Banks at Headquarters. This is the information she sent me concerning chapter membership: The Chapter President, Chapter Treasurer or the Chapter Membership Chair are to update the chapter roster on the International Website. Instructions are listed at the top of the directory page under “My Chapter Roster.”
LOOKING AHEAD: Take Care, everyone! Stay safe,

Showing Support
We, on the International Chapter and Executive Board, are excited to support our Sisters who are “in the classroom” be it “Zoom” or actual. You are exemplifying the “Excellence in Education” that we honor. Many of you are doing double duty… actual in class teaching and zoom or virtual lessons. Our hearts are open to you and our “hats are off” to each of you. You have our utmost respect. You are the Angels in the “classroom” for each of your students. Thank you, Thank you!
I was sent a copy of this t-shirt written in the words of our beloved De Seuss. Please enjoy and have a great week!

Looking for great Christmas gifts while supporting Alpha Phi Chapter??
Since 1985 Alpha Phi has awarded 54 scholarships to area college students accepted into an education program. To continue this scholarship tradition we invite you and your family and friends to join us in an online fundraiser with Rada Mfg Co in Waverly IA that specializes in making 5-Star cutlery, and also sells kitchen utensils, gift sets, mixes (soups, sauces, dips, desserts), books (cookbooks and gift books) and baking pans.
