Remote Learning Continues!
March 19, 2020
Dear Families,
First of all, thank you so much for your grace, your patience and your partnership. This has been a wild week for all of us, and we appreciate you hanging in there as we learn to do this together.
If you can, please send a word of encouragement to our incredible teaching staff. They have put in very, very long days to move curriculum to an online format, respond to their students' questions, grade assignments, take attendance, etc. We could not have done it without your wonderful support or without the perseverance of our amazing kids. THANK YOU!
As you have seen from Dr. Glass earlier this evening, Jeffco has made the decision to have Remote Learning four days per week after Spring Break, giving teachers some much needed planning and preparation time on Mondays to create engaging, rigorous, and manageable online learning experiences for their students. The new "bell schedule" is below this greeting. Your students' English Teachers will share this new schedule with them tomorrow morning.
To reiterate, the new bell schedule below begins AFTER SPRING BREAK. Tomorrow (Friday, March 20) will follow the same schedule we've had planned for this week.
- 8:30-9:30 ELA
- 9:30-10:30 Science
- 10:30-11:30 Social Studies
- 11:30-12:30 Math
- 1:30-2:30 Arts Electives
- 2:30-3:30 Academic Electives
If you have any questions, or feedback, or even if you'd just like to say hello in this crazy time, please don't hesitate to call me at 720.445.5324. I look forward to connecting with you.
Stay healthy and warm out there! And wash your hands!
Thanks, as always, for sharing your kids with us. It is our honor to serve them.
